Bumdoodler's has been feeding Boerne for 25 years!  It all began when Gerri Fiedler and her husband Kenneth took on the business in 1982.  Gerri not only turned the restaurant into one of Boerne's most popular lunch spots, but she also started what is known as 'Gerri's Pies,' the best made-from-scratch pies money can buy.  In the year 2000, Bumdoodler's was taken over by Gerri's youngest daughter Jana Bezet and her husband Danny. They have continued the family tradition and still make all of their bread, pies, cheesecakes, soups, and salad dressings from scratch with Gerri's original recipes.  Bumdoodler's is also becoming famous for their beautiful and delicious wedding and birthday cakes.  So the next time your in Boerne, be sure to stop by Bumdoodler's, have lunch and experience the "Best Little Sandwich Shop in Texas!"
